Tattoo- Illustration Friday

Tattoo- Illustration Friday. I can assure you I am not trying to be an eager beaver and post early. My grandson (3yrs. Old) is coming for the entire week end and I know I won't be able to accomplish much with him here . So here you have two of my early works. I logged in well over 10 hours of time on them.

They are done in pen and ink. (You'll notice in the crayfish I used a different ink in places- so sad). I am constantly asked to design tattoos because of the intricate pen and ink work I do. At first I took offense to it...Now, the thought of having my art on someone's body forever doesn't sound half bad!!!

They are great pictures, I love the line work. I'm not so sure what you mean by eager beavers, I'm just here to hear how great I am. ;)

Wow you really do design tattos?

These are beautiful but I'd only consider them as transfers! (I don't fancy anything permanently marking me!)

your drawings are stunning and so intricate. I love the details!

Although I myself wouldn't like to go with a frog at my body, I think your image is beautiful, brilliant. I like them very much. In a way they look alike the drawings in the old schoolbooks - because of their so many details

so many details..your drawings are stunnings as always! GREAT..this is great.

I can see how those would make great tattoos. Not for me. Needles scare me.

Awesome! Both of them are wonderful. I've been asked several times to design tattoos as well. No need to take offense. There's some really bad art out there, but there's also some really wonderful stuff as well, and I can see that yours would be among the wonderful ones.

Your drawings are fantastic! I almost got a tattoo of a lobster once - this one is amazing!! . . .I chickened out and decided to stay unmarked. But if I would have had your drawing as the reference I might have one now! Gorgeous!
