Opposite Rhino

Opposite-Illustration Friday challenge. I chose to do something a little different this week. Normally my favourite medium is pen and ink so I thought why not go outside my comfort zone and do white on black paper (the exact opposite of what I normally do!). I used white pencil on black tag board.
I did it again! I dated this almost ten years earlier when it should be 2006! Am I living in the past or what?!

This works exceptionally well with your subject...it makes the rhino hide look really tough and rough...perfect! I love the amount of texture you've achieved in yhour details. Wonderful work:>

Very creative with the topic! Also, the Rhino is a very hard/strong looking subject and when I see the white pencil on black I alwasy think of softness. Great way to look at opposites as well. Great texture and detail too.
