"Aquatic-King Neptune" Illustration Friday 5/27

Aquatic-"King Neptune." This is a pen and ink I did in 1992. I was sooooo excited when this topic came up! I LOVE working with sealife and all things "aquatic!" I have been expiramenting with adding colour to some of my pen and inks. Do you think it adds or takes away when color is added to pen and ink pictures? Posted by Hello

I also have a liking to black and white. There is so much detail here, just wonderful!

The black and white pen&ink work is perfect just as it is. Fantastic detail and wonderful illustration !

OMG, this is totally perfect! I love all things aquatic, too, think because I was born in Key West and grew up in Point Loma, in San Diego. And I think this drawing would lose so much of itself if it had color. Some pen and ink stuff is better with color, but stuff like your pic needs all the detail to be seen! Wonderful! (I want to draw like this!)

I like it just the way it is.. But then again if you have a scanner and photoshop you can play with the color then delete! Have a good one!
