Routine- Illustration Friday prompt for August 22, 2008. "Her routine was the same every year...collect nuts and fill the nest for winter; however, this year someone stole her entire stash. Now the snow is falling...'How will I feed my children?', Mrs. Squirrel thought."
Poor squirrels!
ReplyDeleteOh poor Mrs. Squirrel!
ReplyDeleteA really great job with this week's illo. I felt so sad when I saw Mrs. Squirrel. I like the bird in the tree too and the sign above the hole :)
Hey Ellen,
ReplyDeleteThanks for comments! I feel bad for momma squirrel. I like the red bird just watching it all go down:)
Oh this is a terrible fate. We must need to find out who stole the nuts and return them to Mrs. Squirrel. Maybe you can do a follow-up drawing and return the nuts, this is sad to leave it like this. Hahahaha!
ReplyDeleteGreat illustration. Thanks for the info on trees. Unfortunately can't plant in my yard. I have a patio garden, hence my deep appreciation for wild trees. :-)I love your state - beautiful and historic.
What a lovely image for the prompt!
